In his letter to the youth when he called the upcoming 2018 Synod, Pope Francis expressed his desire to "work with them for their joy," citing 2 Cor 1:24. In that same vein, you are invited to join chaplains and campus ministers from across the southeast for a gathering in Gainesville, Florida, as we discuss working together in joy for the good of the young Church. The day will include a presentation by Mike St. Pierre, CCMA Executive Director, as well as Mass, roundtable discussion, and opportunities for informal networking. Topics include outreach to high schools, formation for student leaders, and alumni/development efforts.


  • $45 per person
  • Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, parking, beverages and snacks throughout the day, and materials. There will be an optional dinner outing for those attendees staying overnight.

Information and passes will be provided closer to the event for those driving to the gathering.

Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV)
The closest airport to St. Augustine Church and Catholic Student Center is the Gainesville Regional Airport. It accepts flights from Delta and American airlines and is approximately 15 minutes from campus. Rental car, taxi and bus services are available as well. Click on links for more information. International airports in Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa are an easy drive to campus and approximately two hours away.

Dress for the Roundtable is business casual. Please be comfortable and prepare for sunny skies with temperatures in the high 60s, and cooler temperatures around the mid 40s in the evening.

  • How to guarantee your program is funded for future growth

The One-Day that I attended provided an inspiring day of prayer, renewal, fellowship with other campus ministers. Thank you to CCMA for coordinating!
