New Resources to Combat Racism
I received a call last week from a national Catholic newspaper inquiring about campus responses to racism. Having recently participated in a book discussion group with both black and white Catholic campus leaders, I was glad to receive the call. I’ve heard the perspective, the wisdom and the pain of my black friends in ministry. It’s very real and each of us can be part of the solution. This is what it means to be brothers and sisters in Christ. This is not an us-v-them issue. Racism is an everybody issue and it grieves the heart of God. It also prevents the Gospel from reaching more students, something we are all passionate about.
