Join fellow CCMA priests for a three-part series designed to inspire and equip preachers to communicate the Gospel with clarity, passion, and purpose. Guided by Fr. Alex Colautti, CC, co-author of Preaching on Purpose, and Ryan O’Hara, host of the Better Preach podcast, this cohort will dive into the renewal of Catholic preaching for today’s Church.

Through a mix of engaging presentations, small-group priest-only discussions, and shared reflection, participants will discover practical tools, theological insight, and spiritual encouragement for their ministry of preaching. Together, we’ll explore how proclaiming the Word can transform lives and deepen encounters with Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Complimentary registration is provided to CCMA Members.

Non-members are invited to attend all three sessions for a one-time fee of $30.

Session 1: Setting the Context

Explore the cultural landscape of campus ministry and the unique challenges, opportunities, and preaching needs of this time and place.

Session 2: Preaching with Impact

This session focuses on making your preaching clear, compelling, applicable, and actionable - not as a checklist, but as a guide for preparing and evaluating homilies that truly resonate.

Session 3: Questions & Dialogue

An open Q&A, shaped by the questions and insights that emerge from the first two sessions, allowing for deeper discussion and shared wisdom.

Format:

  • 2-5 min: Welcome & Prayer

  • 25 min: Content (Fr. Alex and/or Ryan)

  • 25 min: Priest-only Small Groups

  • 5 min: Large Group Wrap-Up & Announcements

We invite you to make time for this intentional space of fraternity, formation, and renewal. As preachers, your words carry the power to ignite faith, bring healing, and inspire hope in the communities you serve. This cohort will not only strengthen your preaching but also provide the support of brother priests committed to growing together in the mission of proclaiming Christ. We look forward to walking with you in this journey of renewal and encouragement.

This is an exclusive program for priests who are part of CCMA.
